Commissioner Rhoderick M. Parayno is a retired Major General of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Philippine Military Academy and graduated in 1985. He is an experienced military officer who specialized in management of people, strategic planning, counter intelligence, public and community relations, public affairs and media management. During his service, Commissioner Parayno had been assigned to different parts of the Philippines and had thousands of troops under his command. Throughout his military career, he earned countless awards, medals, and distinctions.
In 2006, Commissioner Parayno earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Philippine Christian University. In 2010, he obtained his Master’s degree in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University in Washington, DC, USA. In 2019, he was appointed to the Philippine Coconut Authority, Office of the Administrator and he also served as Security Consultant to San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Company.
